Ushoppen supports Owerri virtual trade fair with websites

In a statement, organisers noted that the virtual trade affair had a successful outcome as vendors used Ushoppen’s no-code e-commerce platform to create websites and sell their products online, receive reviews and make sales.

The CEO of Aggital Works, Ushoppen’s parent company, Oghoghozino Otefia, emphasised the platform’s mission to empower small and medium enterprises.

Otefia explained that Ushoppen’s ‘Answer-and-Build System’ allowed vendors to create fully functional websites without any coding skills, simply by answering questions and uploading their products.

The organisers were worried that the initial postponement of the trade fair would hurt its goal to attract over 10,000 customers and showcase 200 SMEs, however, the virtual event, which Ushoppen, provided vendors with exposure and sales opportunities.

The convener of Vendors in Owerri Community, Nwadiuto Napoleon-Ekeh, praised Ushoppen’s timely support, calling it a lifeline for the vendors.
