UPDATED: Cole Palmer wins 2023

An announcement on the Professional Footballers Association X account, #PFA on Tuesday, revealed this.

PUNCH Online reported on Monday that the Professional Footballers’ Association Awards will take centre stage, celebrating the elite of the Premier League on Tuesday night.

After missing out on the main award, Palmer, a City academy graduate, was named the men’s Young Player of the Year following an impressive debut season at Chelsea.

The England international, who transferred from City to Chelsea for an initial £40 million on deadline day in September, topped the Premier League with 22 goals and 11 assists.

Palmer outpaced nominees such as Bukayo Saka, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Joao Pedro, and Michael Olise, but did not make the PFA Team of the Year.
