The summit, themed ‘Institutionalising Good Governance for National Transformation: The Imperative of Public/ Private Sector Collaboration’, gathered directors and corporate governance officers from across the country.
In her keynote address, the Managing Partner at Compliance Professionals Plc, Ifueko Okauru, called for a dynamic approach to corporate governance, urging Nigerians to hold themselves to high personal standards.
She stressed the importance of transformational leadership and long-term goal orientation among workers.
According to Okauru, institutionalising good governance takes time and collective effort, not just the actions of a single individual.
