RECTEM promotes transparency at summit

In her opening remark, the Rector of RECTEM, Dr Stella Mofunanya, noted that the job of getting admission right in tertiary institutions should not be left to authorities alone but the responsibility of all.

She mentioned that admission officers should complement the transparency and accountability the parent body was entrenching in the admission process.

Mofunanya said, “Making admissions right is our collective responsibility, and I believe that the JAMB coordinator of our beloved Ogun State could not wait any longer for this event to be held. Ecclesiastes 9:10 encourages all to do what our hands find to do diligently.”

Abdulhakeem said, “We will no longer tolerate admission malpractices. All admissions must be on CAPS. We have automated all our services, and institutions that fail to comply will face severe sanctions from the Minister of Education.
