PSG pull out of Osimhen race

However, according to French publication L’Equipe, PSG are now leaning towards “standing pat” and relying on their existing forward line, which includes the likes of Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo-Muani, Marco Asensio, and Bradley Barcola.

The French giants had reportedly tabled a low offer for Osimhen in recent weeks, while their initial contacts with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman also fell short of the Italian club’s valuation.

The latest developments confirm PSG’s decision to step back from pursuing a marquee signing and focus instead on utilising their squad depth as they chase Ligue 1 and European success this season.

Atalanta executive Luca Percassi has stated the club’s goal is to keep all their best players, and it remains uncertain whether Lookman will return to training this week.

Teammate Teun Koopmeiners has also produced a medical certificate to be excused from training as talks with Juventus proceed slowly.
