Peak celebrates Nigeria’s lifters following Paralympics heroics

Mark and Oluwafemiayo won gold medals in the 61kg and 86kg categories, respectively, while Nworgu and Omolayo won silver medals in the 41kg and 79kg categories, respectively.

In a statement made available to PUNCH Online on Monday, the company’s Marketing Manager, Omolara Banjoko, hailed the athletes’ remarkable performances and noted that Peak presented generous cash rewards and incentives to the athletes in recognition of their unparalleled achievements.

Banjoko said, “The performance of our para powerlifters at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games is a testament to their hard work and focus. They won four medals, an accomplishment that fills us with immense pride.”

The statement noted that Mark and Oluwafemiayo each received N2m while Nworgu and Omolayo were rewarded with N1m each.

Additionally, other participants were also recognised with N500,000 each and an array of Peak milk products in various exciting variants.
