Opoku-Agyemang: NDC committed to reviving neglected cocoa roads

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Vice Presidential candidate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has assured supporters that the next NDC administration will prioritize completing all abandoned cocoa road projects.

Speaking at a rally in Datano, located in the Bodi Constituency, as part of her three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region, she expressed her dismay over the current government's neglect of these critical infrastructure projects.

During her address, Prof Opoku-Agyemang highlighted the government's failure to make its report on cocoa road projects public, emphasizing that the administration had previously accused the Mr Mahama government of negligence.

She called on the electorate to recognize the importance of these roads for the cocoa industry and the livelihoods of farmers in the region.

Prof Opoku-Agyemang encouraged attendees not to lose hope, assuring them that the NDC would revive and continue the cocoa road projects that have been left unattended.
