The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party is demanding the immediate release of Kenyans arrested during the Nane Nane protests yesterday.

ODM Communications Director Philip Etale called on authorities to unconditionally release those detained.

"The ODM Party is asking for the unconditional release of the over 70 Kenyans who were arrested yesterday during the public protests in Nairobi and other parts of the country," Etale stated.

ODM highlighted that some of those arrested are persons with disabilities (PWDs) and noted that most are being held at the Central Police Station in Nairobi.
