Accra, Aug. 18, GNA – The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, says the NPP has a superior track record in terms of good governance and infrastructural development compared with the National Democratic Congress’ performance over the same period.

Speaking at the Party’s Manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, Dr Bawumia touted the NPP-led government’s achievements over the past seven and half years as impressive.

The achievements covered areas such as economic growth, infrastructure development, and various social interventions.

The NPP Flagbearer emphasised the government’s efforts in stabilising the economy and reducing inflation to impact positively on the lives of Ghanaians, admitting though that there was still more work to be done to improve conditions.

Dr Bawumia, however, said given the government’s impressive performances as against the NDC’s poor track records, it had intimidated its presidential candidate, Mr John Mahama, from daring to debate him.
