Next NDC government to establish community-based apprentice programme

Atwima-Agogo (Ash), Oct 01, GNA – The next NDC government will work with master craftsmen to establish community-based apprentice training programmes across the country.

Madam Betty Mould-Iddrisu, a Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, who announced this, said it was part of the National Apprenticeship Training Program, which would be implemented by the NDC within the first 120 days in office.

She was speaking at a community engagement at Atwima-Agogo, as part of the NDC women outreach and campaign tour of the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti region.

The government would provide financial, and material support needed by these apprentices to go through their training.
