President Akufo-Addo has weighed in on the ongoing debate concerning the voter's register, addressing the calls by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for a forensic audit.
According to the President, the opposition's demands lack merit and have since been put to rest.
Speaking in an interview with France24, President Akufo-Addo explained that the NDC’s claims surrounding the integrity of the voter's register were unfounded.
He pointed out that the Electoral Commission (EC) had publicly addressed the matter, presenting evidence that undermined the opposition’s accusations.
President Akufo-Addo emphasized that the EC’s recent broadcast had thoroughly discredited the NDC’s calls for an audit.
