NDC trade and artisan network takes campaign to Swedru

Kasoa (C/R), Aug 23, GNA – The Trade and Artisan Network (TAN), under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to bolstering Ghana’s economy by supporting the informal sector.

As the 2024 general elections approach, TAN took its “Retail Campaign” to Swedru in the Agona West District and outlined the party’s tailored policies for traders and artisans to boost their activities.

The team highlighted the NDC’s 24-hour economy policy and plans to establish a women’s bank.

Mr Michael Asamoah Bamfo, Central Regional Coordinator of TAN, stated that the NDC would implement measures, including incentives and interest-free loans, to create an enabling environment for the 24-hour economy.

He added that the Women’s Development Bank would support approximately one million women traders and entrepreneurs.
