NDC to launch 2024 Manifesto today

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to launch its 2024 manifesto today, Saturday, August 24.

The event will take place at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium of the University of Education, Winneba in the Central Region.

A statement signed and issued by the party’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, said the event, scheduled for 12 noon, would feature the flagbearer of the NDC, former President John Dramani Mahama, as the Special Guest and his running mate, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

Also in attendance would be members of the National Executive Committee, members of the Council of Elders, Members of Parliament of the NDC, Parliamentary Candidates and an array of distinguished guests from the diplomatic corps, clergy, traditional authorities, civil society organisations, academia, Labour Organisations, creative arts, among others.

Earlier, the NDC had explained that the planning committee responsible for the successful organisation of the manifesto launch included: Dr Peter Boamah Otokunor (Director of Interparty and Civil Society Relations of the NDC) — Chairman; Barbara Serwaa Asamoah (Deputy General Secretary) —member and Sammy Gyamfi (Communications Officer) — member.
