The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has declared this year's election a must-win for the party.

The Chairman of the NDC Zongo Caucus Working Committee, Said Sinare, urged party supporters to take all necessary steps to achieve the victory.

“Ghanaians won’t forgive NDC if we fail to win the election, because it is a must-win election for the NDC. No matter what, we need to secure victory in this election, as Allah has already determined that John Mahama will be the winner,” he said.

At an event in Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region to inaugurate Ashanti Region Morale Youth for the party, Mr Sinare remarked that no matter which deity the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) consults, they will ultimately lose the election to the NDC.

He accused the ruling party of attempting to rig the election, urging party supporters to stay alert and closely monitor the events at the different polling stations on Election Day.
