The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has pledged to establish a creative arts fund to support individuals in the creative arts industry.
Ghanaian actress and movie producer Kafui Danku made this known at the NDC manifesto launch on August 12.
According to Kafui Danku, this fund will help support the creative industry in movie production, music, and creative startups.
“For individuals within the creative art industry, President Mahama pledges to usher a vibrant era for music and creative industry emphasising on supporting a unique Ghanaian culture and talents to the global world."
“A creative arts fund will be instituted to usher sustainable financial support to start ups and exciting creative enterprises,” she said.
