He explained that he had so far been overwhelmed with the support of his party leaders and numerous supporters who had been earnestly yearning for the rapid growth and development of the LGA.
The chairmanship aspirant also expressed his gratitude to the people for their unflinching support and love since he declared his interest to contest for the top position in the Nassarawa Eggon LGA.
He further promised to run an open door policy if elected into office, adding that students, farmers, market women and less-privileged people would be regularly assisted in order to alleviate their sufferings.
“I am making it known to you emphatically today that if I am elected to represent our political party, the APC in the forthcoming local government election, and I emerge as chairman of Nassarawa Eggon local government council, I will surely bring good dividends of democracy to all residents of the area,” Embugu said.
He, therefore, promised not to disappoint his party members and the entire people of the LGA if he is allowed to serve as chairman of the council.
