Let’s endeavour to cement bond of peace, social cohesion – Gospel Ministers

Sunyani, Sept. 25, GNA – The Gospel Ministers Network has implored political parties and their followings to remain tolerant, and respect the views of their opponents in the electioneering, to avoid hostilities and disturbance of national peace during the December 7 polls.

Bishop Samuel Osei-Quashie, its President, said the Network, comprising of over local 80 churches and Ministers of God, had been together to advance the work of God.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, Bishop Osei-Quashie reminded Ghanaians they were one people from a common ‘blood line’ due to inter-religious and ethnic marriages, hence the need to be guarded and not allow partisan politics to divide them.

He warned that every family would be affected in any pre- or post-election disturbances and advised all persons to contribute their quota for a peaceful Election 2024, to strengthen and cement the bond of unity and social cohesion in society.
