Obuasi (Ash), Oct. 03, GNA- Mr Samuel Aboagye, NDC Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Obuasi East has called on party members to intensify grass-root campaigns to help mobilize support for the party in the December elections.

He said though the NDC was on the verge of winning political power, it was important for party supporters to work together and strengthen their campaign for it to happen.

Addressing hundreds of party supporters after a healthy walk through some principal streets of Obuasi, Mr Aboagye called for unity and hard work to enable the party to win the December elections.

He accused the NPP government of mismanaging the Ghanaian economy and said the next NDC government would implement various initiatives that would help improve the living standards of the people.

Mr Aboagye thanked the supporters for the massive turn-out in the health walk and charged them to go out and tell the people about the track record of the NDC, during its term of office.
