Asokore (Ash), Sept. 20, GNA – Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, NPP’s Vice Presidential Candidate has called on every Ghanaian to do his or her utmost best to ensure that the country’s peace is maintained after the December general elections.

He said the NPP government was committed to ensuring that everything was done to sustain the country’s peace before, during and after the elections.

Addressing party supporters as part of his campaign tour at Asante Asokore, in the Sekyere East District, he said the government, under the leadership of Nana Akufo Addo, would work to protect the country’s peace at all times.

Dr Opoku Prempeh said the government was ready to do all in its power to ensure violent free elections and called on everybody to do their part to maintain the peace in the country.

He said the NPP was campaigning on ideas that would help promote the rapid transformation of the nation and would not follow the path of the NDC Presidential Candidate, who had resorted to insults and attacks on his political opponents.
