Lagos Free Zone woos German businesses

In a statement, Ladoja said the LFZ offered a comprehensive ecosystem which allowed businesses to thrive with minimal risks.

She described LFZ as the only free zone in the country that integrates a deep-sea port with top-tier infrastructure, making it a strategic choice for companies seeking industrial expansion.

Ladoja said trade between Nigeria and Germany reached $3bn in 2023, indicating the LFZ ‘s importance to the country’s collaboration with German businesses.

She noted a recycling multinational, BASF, leveraged LFZ’s ecosystem for sustainable growth in Nigeria, as an example of the partnership.
