Keta constituents urged to reject NPP for progressive development

Abor (VR), Oct. 07, GNA – Dr James Klutse Avedzi, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North has urged all constituents within Keta in the Volta Region to vote massively for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for progressive development.

He said this would be the only option for Ghanaians to stop the untoward hardship they faced.

Dr Avedzi made the appeal during a campaign launch by the Keta outfit of the party at Abor, where he urged all to rally behind the NDC to recapture power in the best interest of the country.

“We must accomplish what we are fighting for, and it is our work to now teach the voters how to locate the umbrella and vote for Mr John Mahama and our parliamentary candidates to win the elections,” he stated.

Dr Avedzi, who is also Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament, stated that the unprecedented borrowing under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government had put the nation in a debt of about Gh₵ 800 billion from Gh₵ 120 billion of former Presidents John Kufuor, the late Prof. Atta Mills and Mr John Dramani Mahama’s time.
