City’s prolific striker, Erling Haaland, found himself at the centre of a heated exchange with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and forward Gabriel Jesus.
Sky Sports footage circulated on social media on Monday captured Haaland confronting Arteta, saying “Stay humble eh. Stay humble eh.”
The situation escalated when Jesus intervened, leading to a profanity-laced exchange. Haaland was heard saying, “Talking about what I wasn’t talking about fing clown,” before pushing Jesus away and adding, “What you talking about… Get the f away, you f***ing clown.”
This altercation came after the tense match where Haaland scored his 100th goal for Manchester City. The game saw Arsenal reduced to 10 men after Leandro Trossard received a second yellow card.
City equalised in the 98th minute through John Stones, setting the stage for the post-match confrontations.
