Governor Jim Pillen presents coin to Ghana-Nebraska Agribusiness Chamber, strengthening bilateral ties

Nebraska State Governor Jim Pillen has commended the Ghana-Nebraska Agribusiness Growth and Trade Relations Chamber (GNEBCham) for leading efforts to enhance agricultural infrastructure, foster agribusiness trade, and promote knowledge sharing between the two regions.

He praised the chamber’s role in unlocking new opportunities that push the agribusiness sectors in both Ghana and Nebraska toward a prosperous future.

At a Meet-and-Greet session with a 30-member Ghanaian delegation that participated in the Husker Harvest Days event, Governor Pillen highlighted the chamber's success in facilitating trade and collaboration between Ghana and Nebraska.

He applauded GNEBCham for acting as a gateway for American businesses interested in Africa, especially Ghana, while helping Ghanaian companies navigate Nebraska's agricultural market.

“I’m impressed by the growing trade linkages between our regions, and we’re open to working with you to identify gaps and foster mutual business growth,” Pillen stated.
