What do you believe is the single most important factor driving up the cost of living in Nigeria?

Adidome (V/R), Aug. 11, GNA – Mr Stanley Agbozo, a Volta Regional communication member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on the government to address the current economic challenges and the rising cost of living in the country.

The economic challenges, he disclosed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), were affecting the daily lives of every Ghanaian, and needed urgent intervention from the government.

Mr Agbozo recounted the escalating prices of essential goods, services, and necessities such as food, fuel, and housing which became more expensive and stretching household budgets to their limits.

He stated that some of these economic plights had made it increasingly difficult for individuals and families to manage their finances.

“This situation is not just a minor inconvenience; it’s a significant concern that impacts the overall well-being of our population. I urge the government to take decisive action to alleviate these economic pressures,” he noted.
