FULL LIST: The Weekend, Jagun Jagun top 2024 AMAA nominations

Leading the pack is Uche Okocha’s Nigerian film, The Weekend, with 16 nominations, followed by Femi Adebayo’s Jagun Jagun, which garnered seven nods.

The highly anticipated awards ceremony is set to take place on November 2 in Lagos, in collaboration with the Lagos State government.

Also, a Wednesday X post from AMAA via its handle #AMAAWARDS, wrote, “The Day Has Arrived! Today, we unveil the nominees for the 20th Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA)!
