Free SHS praised for its immense impact on Ghanaians, especially Denkyira

Accra, Sept. 26, GNA – The Denkyira Traditional Council has hailed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, for the significant impact of Free SHS policy on the lives of Ghanaians, especially in the traditional area.

Welcoming Dr Bawumia to Dunkwa-On-Offin on Wednesday, as part of his campaign tour, Nana Kwame Nkrumah II on behalf of the Council, said the Free SHS policy had ensured equal access to senior secondary education for all, and significantly impacted the Denkyira community.

He commended the government for the great job done, saying, “your flagship free SHS policy has brought great relief to the Denkyira community, especially those who could not have afford to send their children to second school.

“Today, all our children go to school for free without any stress on parents and we have many literate young populations, all because of Free SHS”.

The Traditional Council also commended the Akufo-Addo government for bringing developmental projects to the community, including roads, construction of a strategic bridge on-going stadium, and the DRIP equipment for road development.
