Foundation unveils youth empowerment initiative

It noted that the initiative would be ongoing year-round, with businesses being selected each year for different phases.

The foundation disclosed that Project Mount would support 40 youths with N500,000 each for business and farming, and 200 women with N100,000 each for similar ventures.

It added that it would provide N10 million in interest-free loans to businesses and invest N50 million in the ‘Nwa Boi’ Global Apprenticeship Hub to empower youth further.

Dr Poly Mbah of the Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri, remarked, “Crop farming is the backbone of sustainable communities,” emphasizing the importance of discipline when planting.

“Project Mount’s multifaceted approach is designed to address the specific needs of youths, women, and micro, small, and medium enterprises,” he stated.
