Fairness, firmness will restore hope to PDP

He said, “We are hopeful that our fairness, firmness, and decisiveness will restore the hope and confidence of our great party to meet the expectations of our teeming membership nationwide and the Nigerian public who are desperate for an appropriate national leadership.”

Ikimi also urged all PDP members and leadership to give the disciplinary committee the support and cooperation necessary to complete its assignment.

He said that all petitions would be dealt with according to the dictates of the PDP constitution, saying the party’s constitution clearly spelt out the ‘offences and sanctions’.

Ikimi said that the committee was set to start its sitting and hearing petitions, adding that it looked forward to receiving petitions and complaints from aggrieved members through the National Working Committee or as might be appropriately brought to its notice.
