Eriksson, who led England to the World Cup quarter-finals in 2002 and 2006, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.
His illustrious career included managing clubs in Sweden, Portugal, and Italy, and he was the first foreigner to coach England's national team.

Swedish football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, who coached England from 2001 to 2006, died Monday at the age of 76 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, his agent said.
