Accra, Aug. 20, GNA – Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer for the 2024 Elections, says they will launch a ‘Operation Olympic Glory’ programme to enable the country win more medals at the global sporting fiesta.
With Los Angeles set to host the next Summer Olympics in 2028, Ghana would return to the 34th Olympiad to compete for medals.
Ghana’s recent performance at the Paris Olympics was not encouraging, with none of its athletes able to enter the medal zones in various sporting disciplines.
