Don’t vent your frustrations on chiefs and the clergy – NAPO to Mahama

Ofoase (Ash), Sept. 20, GNA – Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), Vice Presidential Candidate of the NPP, has charged former President Mahama not to blame any chief or clergyman for his seemingly defeat in the December elections.

He said former President Mahama realising a flop in his campaign and apparent defeat in the upcoming elections, had now resorted to insults and blaming chiefs, the clergy and other traditional leaders for their support for the NPP Presidential candidate Dr Bawumia.

Speaking during a campaign tour at Ofoase in the Juaben Municipality, the Dr Opoku Prempeh pointed out that, former President Mahama, was now tired and frustrated of how Ghanaians had accepted the vision of Dr Bawumia.

He said former President Mahama was targeting community and opinion leaders because he had seen that the NDC propaganda against the NPP government and Dr Bawumia was not working, since Ghanaians had now seen the differences between the two leading political parties in the country.

“Mr Mahama has realized that the NDC has no chance of winning the presidential and parliamentary elections, so he has directed his frustrations and anger on innocent people.
