“Crawley Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian defender Benjamin Tanimu from Singida Black Stars for an undisclosed fee,” the club said on Monday.
Tanimu had also arrived in the United Kingdom to join up with the Red Devils, and some of their fans who didn’t believe in the transfer after it was first announced on Friday can’t wait to see him in action after the international break.
One of them with the name Andy said, “This will probably be up there with one of Scott’s best signings.”
Kearns Richard also said, “Exciting signing.”
“Welcome to Crawley Benjamin—have a great time and enjoy your football,” another fan with the name GH Away Travel wrote under the club’s post.
