Communities receive education face-lift in Biakoye District

Tapa-Akaa Yaw (O/R), Oct. 07, GNA – Madam Millicent Kabuki Carboo, Biakoye District Chief Executive (DCE), has commissioned a six-unit classroom block for the Bowiri Kwamikrom R/C KG/Primary A&B School to facilitate effective education delivery in the district.

The DCE also commissioned and handed over the renovated Tapa-Akaa Yaw D/A Primary School for use.

Madam Carboo in her speeches noted that the Assembly with the support of the government continued to invest in the welfare of citizens in the district in many sectors including education.

She said there was a need for parents to take a keen interest in the education of their wards to ensure a bright future for the learners.

Madam Carboo said the six-unit classroom block had a staff room, store and a headmaster’s office which would enable a conducive atmosphere for teachers as well.
