Choose competence over religious considerations – Napo tells electorate

Ghanaian voters have been admonished to consider competence over religion or any other considerations in casting their ballots during the polls this December.

Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate, who gave the advice said the country needs a competent leader to progress.

Napo emphatically stated that Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, who is a staunch Muslim, is the most competent and suitable person to lead the country as president now.

Speaking at Afrancho in the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency as part of his Ashanti Regional campaign tour, he said Ghanaians are one people with a common destiny.

In this regard, he advised that in selecting the next president of the country, the citizenry should consider the person who has the knowledge and ability to lead properly.
