Kleyn has been largely on the sidelines since South Africa's Rugby World Cup win last year, having played just one game for Munster last season due to an eye injury.

The injury also saw him miss all of the Springboks' Tests so far in 2024.

"There is good news for Jean Kleyn (eye) as he has returned to full training. Kleyn returns having missed the majority of last season," Munster said in a statement.

Munster open their URC campaign against Connacht at Thomond Park on Saturday (18:30 SA time).
