Biakoye DCE supports schools with mono desks to mark ‘My First Day at School’

Nkonya (O/R), Oct. 3, GNA – Madam Millicent Kabuki Carboo, Biakoye District Chief Executive (DCE), has presented 1,100 mono desks to schools in the district to enhance teaching and learning.

She said the donation was a crucial step towards creating a conducive learning environment for the future leaders in the district.

Madam Carboo presenting the desks to the District Education Director at Nkonya Ahenkro, said the provision of quality education was not just a moral imperative but a vital investment in the collective future.

She said the furniture donated would go a long way in addressing the deficit faced by public basic schools in the district.

Madam Carboo said the pieces of furniture donated were procured through D-PAT VI funds while expressing gratitude to the various stakeholders who made the donation possible.
