Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “Distance can never be a barrier to art. Art is a gift and a blessing, and it can be created anywhere in the world.”

Assuring her fans that she would stay true to what she was known for, she said, “I will continue being the entertainer I was born to be. I will continue making music.”

Speaking on the inspiration behind the new single, she said, “There were so many times that people whom I thought were for me let me down, and I continued to forgive and ignore what they did. However, it got to a point where I had to exempt myself from anyone who was not accountable for good friendship.

“Anyone who isn’t kind cannot be close to me. Kindness is a great virtue and I have realised that not everyone has it.”

Describing the reception the song has enjoyed since it was released, she said, “It has been really amazing. The project has been blessed, and I am happy that people have received it in the exact manner it was created.”
