Akufo-Addo's utterances in the U/E Region utterly mind-boggling; he's out of touch

Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the Special Aide to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, has condemned President Akufo-Addo's recent comments made during his visit to the Upper East Region, labelling them as “utterly mind-boggling.”

She argues that the president's remarks reveal a significant disconnect from the harsh realities faced by Ghanaians, especially those living in northern Ghana.

In his address, President Akufo-Addo slammed the NDC's John Dramani Mahama, urging voters to support Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the candidate capable of building on the progress made by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Yesterday I heard president Akufo Addo speaking in the Upper East Region and his utterances were utterly mind boggling, NPP is clearly out of touch and out of sync, it is time to vote them out! #Ghana is not a family heirloom.#GhanaDeservesBetter #Choose8 vote for John Mahama! pic.twitter.com/62qSdUDrXY — Joyce Bawah Mogtari (@joyce_bawah) October 3, 2024

He claimed that the NDC's position on the ballot, specifically the selection of number 8, would not bode well for the opposition party in the upcoming elections.
