Accessing education in other communities about to end for Domeabra pupils

Domeabra (Ash), Oct. 14, GNA-Pupils of Domeabra in the Obuasi East District will soon be saved from the daily struggle of accessing basic education in other communities following the commencement of work on a six-unit classroom block in the community.

Children in the community have been trekking several kilometres daily to attend school at Kwabenakwa and other adjoining communities due to the lack of a primary school in the community.

They do this at the peril of their lives because they have to cross the Obuasi-Asokwa Highway every day to attend school – a constant threat to their young lives.

In 2022, the Member of Parliament (MP), Dr. Patrick Boakye Yiadom had to construct a two-unit Kindergarten block for the little ones who obviously could not embark on the round trip to access education.

It was at the commissioning of the KG block that the MP promised to provide the community with a primary school block to ensure that children in the community could access basic education locally.
