Access Bank reinforces commitment to ethical standards with newly inducted chartered bankers

Access Bank (Ghana) Plc has reiterated its commitment to ethical banking practices and professional excellence after 69 of its staff members were inducted as Chartered Bankers at the 15th Induction Ceremony of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB), making it the bank with the highest number of graduands.

The graduation ceremony, held at the campus of CIB, saw a total of 237 inductees, including aspiring and practicing bankers officially welcomed into the institution. This event is a significant milestone in Access Bank's ongoing efforts to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism within the banking sector.

The bank’s newly certified bankers have completed rigorous training and examinations, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service to the banking populace.

Reacting to this latest achievement, Managing Director of Access Bank, Olumide Olatunji, noted that Access Bank’s goal is to remain at the forefront of “fostering a culture of excellence, ethical behaviour, and professionalism in line with its aspiration to be the World’s Most respected African Bank. He said: “We entered a strategic partnership with the CIB in 2021 to develop an accelerated path for our employees through a first of its kind banking academy program and we are extremely with the results it has churned out for our Bank in its competency road map”.

He acknowledged the invaluable support of the CIB leadership team and General Council in providing the needed support and guidance into making this happen.
