Who Won the U.S. Presidential Debate?

The NFL Coach of the Year race is one, like player awards, that will see a ton of fluctuation throughout the season.

For instance, as of July 8, the preseason favorite to win the award was Bears coach Matt Eberflus, at +900.

Well, we see how things are going in Chicago, and now Eberflus is eighth on the oddsboard.

Let's check out the latest odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Sept. 16.

2024-25 NFL Coach of the Year odds:

Jim Harbaugh, Chargers: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)

Mike McDonald, Dolphins +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)

Kevin O'Connell, Vikings: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)

Mike Tomlin, Steelers: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)

Dennis Allen, Saints: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)

Jerod Mayo, Patriots: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)

DeMeco Ryans, Texans: +1300 (bet $10 to win $140 total)

Matt Eberflus, Bears: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)

Five of the coaches in the top eight on the oddsboard find their teams undefeated after two weeks.

Harbaugh is no stranger to the award, having won in 2011-12, after he led the San Francisco 49ers to a 13-3 record and an NFC West title in his first season with the organization.

Making a huge leap on the board is Patriots' coach Jerod Mayo.

Before the season, sportsbooks anticipated New England having one of the worst regular-season campaigns in over three decades. However, through two games, the Pats are 1-1, earning a 16-10 road win over Cincinnati in Week 1 and losing in overtime to the Seahawks in Week 2, 23-20.

Texans beat Bears – Should we be worried about Caleb Williams?

Also firmly in the mix is Houston's Ryans, who finished second in the race last season. His Texans are 2-0, including a 19-13 win over the Bears on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, Eberflus and the Bears are 1-1, but struggled to reach that point. They trailed 17-0 at home against Tennessee in Week 1 before pulling off a comeback win, and as mentioned, dropped an ugly to Houston on Sunday.

Eberflus' inclusion near the top of the board this offseason was directly tied to No. 1 pick Caleb Williams being in the fold in Chicago. However, Williams has struggled through two weeks, throwing for a total of 267 yards and a 56.1% completion percentage.

He is also yet to throw a touchdown. He has two interceptions and a 53 passer rating.
