Accra, Aug.24, GNA – The Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, says the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has severely short-changed Ghanaians with bad governance, corruption and economic mismanagement.
Therefore, his administration in 2025 would right the wrongs and promote economic growth and prosperity for all Ghanaians when given the mandate in the December 7 Election.
He said the NPP government under President Akufo-Addo inherited over $450 million of the IMF Extended Credit Facility initiated by his administration.
However, due to economic mismanagement and excessive borrowing by Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government, it had eroded all the gains the NDC administration made under his presidency.
Former President Mahama said this during the launch of the Party’s 2024 Election Manifesto in Winneba in the Central Region on Saturday.
