Ho (V/R), Aug 07, GNA – Madam Joyce Datsa, the Volta Regional Sports Director, on Tuesday announced that the region is making efforts to participate in the upcoming All Regional Games in Accra this November, despite facing financial challenges.
The All Regional Games, organised by Asamoah Gyan, former Captain of Black Stars and a businessman and with other partners, aimed to host 188 athletes and their officials from each region, competing in nine disciplines.
Speaking at the second meeting of the Volta Regional Local Organizing Committee of the All Regional Games in Ho on August 6, Madam Datsa highlighted the significance of the event.
“The games would provide participants with the opportunity to showcase their talents to scouts and the world,” she said.
She encouraged individuals to register and participate, emphasizing that registration was mandatory to compete.
