Okova triumphs in the Nairobi Hospital Golf tournament

Derek Okova amassed 48 stableford points to win the 2024 Nairobi Hospital Children's Charity Heart Fund Golf Tournament held at the par 72Karen Golf and Country Club in Nairobi on Friday.

William Muiguma was the men’s winner on 44 points while Kalee Maleli went home with the lady winners’ gong on 40.

While savoring his feat on the pristine golf course, Okova, who is also the Kenya Pipeline Operations and Maintenance General Manager, stated: “I felt privileged to take part in this event and as Kenya Pipeline, we are delighted to partner with these kinds of initiatives which go a long way in supporting the less privileged in our society.”

Playing off handicap 14, Muiguma nestled 20 points in the front nine and 24 at the back nine to win the men’s trophy.
