Iheanacho eager to reunite with Navas

Iheanacho spent two seasons at Manchester City with Navas, but both players left the Cityzens in 2017, with the 38-year-old Spaniard rejoining his boyhood club, while Iheanacho moved to the East Midlands, England.

The duo is now set to reunite at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium for the 2024/25 season, and Iheanacho said he was eager to play with the Spaniard.

“Jesus is a legend here. He is an incredible person with a great personality. I’ve known him for a long time. He’s a fantastic leader. He has won many trophies in Sevilla’s history, and I’m looking forward to playing with him,” Iheanacho said on the club website.

Last season, Iheanacho played majorly fringe roles in the Foxes’ return to the English Premier League, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 26 appearances. He will, however, be handed a major role in Sevilla, with Youssef En-Nesyri departing the club.

But Iheanacho stated that he was focused on winning trophies with the club.
